In what way does Migraine affect the health of a patient besides inflicting pain, well migraine is a complex and unbearable health condition which affects each individual in different ways. This condition can be of a mild form but then you have the more vicious migraine where it can disable the patient into retiring to a darkened room.
No matter what ever the cause for concern regarding health matters always seek medical attention. Headaches as such is a serious ailment and needs to be taken seriously so never buy over the counter medicines without verifying that the medication provided is appropriate. Headaches can be comforted with a pill or tablet but severe pain from a migraine attack is not so easily calmed unless the right medicine is administered.
A common question asked is, what is Migraine? Well it is the recurrence of repeat headaches. These types of headache can be linked to other symptoms like that of dizzy spells, sensitive towards light and noise, strong nauseating feelings and vomiting. The changes that take place is where the brains response is abnormal to normal signals. Symptoms may include a pulsating headache, a sensitive reaction to light and noise, along with nausea and vomiting. It is not unusual to feel lethargic.
Some people experience changes in the cortex which causes change in their sight as in i.e. seeing dark - coloured spots, stars even zigzag lines. It is not rare for a patient to suffer from numbness, tingling, weakness, or dizziness like that of vertigo. These symptoms are named the aura of migraine. In the grown up adult these visions normally take place before the headache itself, but in the younger generation these can occur at the same time.
Evidence now shows that the genetic overall make-up of a person plays a vital role in this disorder. Genes give the orders that tell the body how to grow and develop. Genes are a hand me down that you inherit from your parents. Scientists have already discovered a number of genes related and linked to migraine.
